Job Description

About Presence Learning

Presence is the leading provider of teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs. Our award-winning technology connects speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and mental health specialists to K-12 school districts nationwide. With a growing network of over 2,000 clinicians and more than 7 million teletherapy sessions delivered, we're dedicated to ensuring every child has access to the support they need.

At Presence, we embrace the benefits of being a remote-first company while recognizing the importance of in-person connection to advance our mission. We place a high value on "cameras on" engagement, schedule coordination, and cross-functional communication to stay connected while working in different places. Travel is also an important part of many roles, helping us build stronger relationships with our teams, clinicians, and school partners. The frequency will vary by role and responsibilities, but may include activities such as department offsites, team gatherings, and school or industry events.

About the Role

We're looking for a sales-driven Account Executive, Strategic Network Accounts (West) to join our team. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Networks and working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in supporting our mission to deliver teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a full-cycle sales environment and enjoys both building new relationships and growing existing partnerships. You'll have the opportunity to drive new business, manage a portfolio of school district accounts, and expand partnerships through a consultative, value-based approach — all while contributing to a mission-driven organization that helps children with special needs.

To stay connected, all employees commit to being available on-camera during our Core Working Hours (Monday - Friday, 12 - 5 p.m. ET) with standard business hours of 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your local time zone. For this role, travel is required (approximately 30–50%) to support onsite meetings, conferences, and partner engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of school district accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth through strategic partnership management
  • Drive new customer acquisition by identifying, targeting, and securing new district partners and stakeholders through outbound prospecting, referrals, and inbound leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school district decision-makers, superintendents, and special education directors across the Western U.S. territory
  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver consultative solutions that demonstrate the value of Presence teletherapy services
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to district needs and budgets
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation and closing
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Clinical, and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation for new accounts
  • Track pipeline activity, forecasting, and account metrics using CRM systems
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and educational forums to generate leads and establish thought leadership
  • Expand existing partnerships by identifying upsell opportunities and introducing new services to current clients

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings proven full-cycle sales experience, preferably in B2B enterprise or education technology sectors. You should demonstrate:

  • Sales Excellence: Track record of exceeding quota, closing deals, and building lasting client relationships
  • Territory Management: Experience managing geographic territories with multiple accounts and complex sales cycles
  • Consultative Selling: Ability to understand client challenges and position solutions that drive measurable outcomes
  • Education Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with K-12 school district operations, budgeting, and procurement processes is a strong plus
  • Strategic Thinking: Comfort working with senior-level stakeholders and navigating complex organizational structures
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for presentations, proposals, and client interactions
  • Remote Work Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to self-manage, stay organized, and thrive in a remote-first environment
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel 30–50% for client meetings, conferences, and strategic engagement

Why Join Presence

Beyond competitive compensation, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization transforming access to mental health and therapeutic services for underserved children. You'll work alongside dedicated clinicians and educators, contribute to meaningful outcomes, and enjoy the flexibility of remote work combined with strong team connection and professional development opportunities.

💰 Compensation not publicly listed. Market estimate for similar roles: from $80K, varying by experience and location.
