The Role
You'll lead marketing strategy and creative execution for Ahrefs' European events program and play a central creative role in Ahrefs Evolve—our global annual conference series. This is not a pure logistics role: you shape how Ahrefs shows up at events visually and strategically, from audience campaigns to booth design to swag.
You'll report to the Global Head of Events (US-based) and work closely with the Global Partnerships & Revenue Manager (Singapore-based) on Evolve sponsorship activations and European & US sponsored events. You partner with our Singapore-based Event Operations Manager for execution while owning creative brief and speaker relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead event marketing strategy and execution: audience targeting, multi-channel campaigns (email, social, partnerships, content), registration drives, and post-event follow-up
- Serve as single point of contact for Ahrefs Evolve confirmed speakers from booking through post-event follow-up
- Own creative direction for Evolve conference including fabrication, booth design, and brand experience, briefing designers across Europe and Asia
- Manage sponsorship booth design and creative for European field events and regional activations
- Lead swag creative direction: concept, design standards, and brand alignment
- Collaborate on Evolve strategy and sponsorship activation planning with global leadership
- Manage timelines and vendor relationships across multiple concurrent projects
- Build and maintain relationships with regional communities, partners, and venues across Europe
- Provide cross-regional creative support for events in Singapore and the US
- Track and report on event performance: attendance, engagement, brand impact, and ROI
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience running B2B field marketing programs or event portfolios with large-scale and grassroots activations
- Strong event marketing background with solid creative collaboration skills
- Excellent project management and vendor relationship abilities
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on creative execution
