Remote Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist

About This Role

Altitude Roofing Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our finance team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will manage critical financial operations, including processing payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping for our growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, payments, and expense reconciliation
• Handle accounts receivable duties such as invoice generation, payment tracking, and collection follow-ups
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation in compliance with accounting standards
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment statuses and outstanding balances
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial accounts

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or similar accounting functions
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting certification or college coursework preferred
