The Role
We're seeking experienced AP Calculus instructors passionate about helping students achieve excellence on their AP exams. You'll teach across multiple formats—from intensive cram courses to ongoing 1-on-1 tutoring and full-length classroom-style AP courses. This is a remote position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with motivated students across the country.
What You'll Do
- Teach AP Calculus AB and BC students in varied formats including short-term cram courses, 1-on-1 tutoring sessions, and full classroom-style AP courses
- Leverage The Princeton Review's proven curriculum to guide students through content mastery, test strategies, and College Board-aligned skills
- Develop and deliver personalized sessions that meet each student's needs—whether advancing ahead, maintaining pace, or deepening understanding
- Maintain professional communication with students, families, and internal teams
- Create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive virtual classroom experience
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support exam readiness
Required Qualifications
- Verified experience teaching a College Board–approved AP course within the past 3 years
- Deep subject matter expertise in AP Calculus (AB and/or BC)
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in mathematics, calculus, or related field preferred
- Flexible, adaptive teaching style with ability to adjust instruction for different formats and learner needs
- Excellent communication and virtual classroom management skills
- Evening and/or weekend availability during the school year
- Prior online instruction experience is a plus
- Ability to create a professional, supportive learning environment
