About the Role
Asana is seeking a Global Events Manager to drive exceptional execution and operational excellence across our global events portfolio. You'll support the strategy and delivery of high-impact experiences—including Work Innovation Summits, roadshows, executive programs, third-party tradeshows, partner activations, product launches, sales kickoffs, and customer/community events. Working closely with the Head of Global Events, you'll collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and external agencies to deliver programs that drive brand awareness, pipeline growth, customer engagement, and product adoption.
What You'll Achieve
- Support end-to-end planning and execution of global events, from kickoff through post-event analysis
- Own workstreams across logistics, vendor coordination, production, registration, attendee experience, executive support, staffing, and onsite operations
- Manage timelines, project plans, budgets, and deliverables across multiple simultaneous programs
- Partner with internal stakeholders across Campaigns, Field Marketing, Product Marketing, GTM, Brand, and Community
- Coordinate with external agencies, production partners, venues, and vendors for flawless execution
- Track budgets, invoices, contracts, and event reporting with precision and accuracy
- Support onsite execution and real-time problem solving during live events
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operationalize processes using AI and automation tools
- Drive post-event reporting and analysis, including attendee engagement, pipeline impact, ROI, and operational learnings
About You
- 5–8 years of experience in events, experiential marketing, field marketing, or integrated marketing roles in SaaS, technology, or fast-paced environments
- Proven experience supporting large-scale conferences, executive programs, or B2B events
- Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Operationally minded with strong follow-through and accountability
- Creative thinker passionate about building impactful live experiences
- Ownership mindset with willingness to find creative solutions to ambiguous challenges
- Team player who jumps in wherever needed to drive results
Work Environment
This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most team members have the option to work from home on Wednesdays, with Friday flexibility depending on work type and team partnerships.
