The Role
Pyyne is seeking a mid-level Backend Engineer with 3+ years of production experience to work as a consultant for our US-based clients. This is a high-impact position as we rapidly expand our AI Engineering practice globally. You will be an active contributor to a lean full stack team building AI-powered solutions that drive real business value for our clients.
As the ideal candidate, you will work closely with both client teams and internal stakeholders to design scalable, reliable, and business-oriented AI solutions. This is a highly client-facing role, perfect for an engineer who excels at collaboration and thrives in dynamic consulting environments. You'll bridge the gap between technical excellence and client success, translating complex requirements into elegant solutions.
Must-Have Skills
- Python Backend Development: Skilled at writing production-grade backend Python code in structured, enterprise environments
- AI Agents & Frameworks: Strong understanding of AI agent fundamentals and implementation best practices (LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks)
- Full-Stack Awareness: Familiarity with React frontends to collaborate effectively across the stack
- Production Experience: Proven track record working in structured production environments with quality standards and deployment practices
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Language: Fluent English required for client-facing interactions
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Next.js for modern full-stack development
- Experience designing or implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
