About This Role
BambooHR is seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
This is a remote position available in Utah. Please note: employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.

Essential Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions supporting company applications and services
- Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration of cloud services into existing infrastructure
- Implement and maintain comprehensive cloud security measures, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost-effectiveness through continuous monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
- Automate repetitive tasks and streamline deployment processes using configuration management tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing uptime for critical services
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices, evaluating their potential impact on company infrastructure strategy
