The Concierge Role
As a Concierge at Base, you serve as the human bridge connecting applicants to their first community experience. You work entirely through phone, SMS, and email to guide new Members from initial application through their first event attendance. This is a relationship-focused position where your communication skills and genuine curiosity about people directly impact member engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Member Engagement: Call newly applied Members with authentic, conversational outreach. Avoid scripted language in favor of genuine dialogue that builds trust from the first interaction.
- Multi-Channel Responsiveness: Manage inbound SMS, email, and phone inquiries with speed and professionalism. Response time is a critical success metric.
- Member Discovery: Ask thoughtful questions that help you understand each Member's background, interests, and motivations for joining Base. Use curiosity to deepen relationships and identify the right community connections.
- Event Conversion: Move Members from application status to confirmed event attendance. Ensure they feel recognized and welcomed before arriving at their first gathering.
- Performance Metrics: Track and achieve conversion targets. Performance bonuses are directly tied to measurable outcomes, creating an incentive-based compensation structure.
