About The Role

As a Client Retention Specialist, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for valued customers enrolled in Beyond Finance's financial hardship programs. This role is critical to ensuring the continued loyalty and success of our client base. You'll interact with clients primarily through inbound phone calls, providing education, empathy, and creative problem-solving to help at-risk customers realize the full value of their enrolled program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Education: Provide comprehensive information about Beyond Finance's financial hardship debt program, ensuring clients understand benefits, processes, and available options for becoming debt-free.
  • Empathy & De-escalation: Display active listening skills and emotional intelligence to understand and de-escalate upset clients, addressing concerns and alleviating stress regarding their financial situations.
  • CRM Management: Effectively navigate our Customer Relationship Management system to quickly access client information, financial status, and program progress. Maintain accurate, detailed records of all client interactions.
  • Financial Analysis: Assess clients' current financial situations and determine the most appropriate options to help them achieve debt-freedom goals.
  • Client Retention: Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions aligned with their financial goals, encouraging continued participation in the Beyond Finance program.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply creative approaches to help struggling clients better understand and maximize the value of their program enrollment.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, empathy for individuals facing financial hardship, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You should be comfortable with CRM systems, detail-oriented in documentation, and genuinely motivated by helping people achieve financial stability. Previous customer success, retention, or customer service experience is valued.
