About This Role
Cribl is seeking an Associate Value Engineer to join our rapidly growing, remote-first team. As the data engine for IT and Security, Cribl partners with some of the biggest names in the most demanding industries to solve their most pressing data needs. In this highly cross-functional consultative role, you'll support Cribl's sales and go-to-market organization by engaging customers to explore and demonstrate the business value of our solutions.
What You'll Do
This role blends customer-facing advisory work with strategic scaling initiatives. Approximately 80% of your time will focus on high-touch customer engagements, while ~20% will be dedicated to developing GTM frameworks, tools, and best practices that help sellers independently build business cases for Cribl.
- Engage, Consult and Influence: Partner with sales teams and customers using value-based selling approaches to create compelling narratives and business cases. Help customers answer the three critical questions: "Why change?", "Why Cribl?", and "Why now?"
- Lead Discovery Sessions: Conduct technical value discovery sessions with senior executives and technical staff, asking insightful questions and providing strategic insights that shape comprehensive business cases.
- Craft Business Cases: Develop comprehensive business cases for new business, expansions, cross-sell opportunities, and value realization analyses to propel renewals and increase deal sizes.
- Innovate and Build: Create value discovery frameworks, financial models, and tools for new use cases and products. Develop and maintain a value metrics database for internal and customer use.
- Empower Sales Teams: Enable sales professionals to become proficient with self-serve value content and tools, ensuring they can independently explore and communicate Cribl's value proposition to customers.
- Drive Key Outcomes: Directly contribute to boosting win rates, accelerating sales cycles, reviving dormant opportunities, increasing deal sizes, and enhancing deal margins.
