The Role: Enterprise Account Executive
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will drive business growth by acquiring and expanding client relationships within assigned territories and verticals. You'll identify customer pain points, recommend tailored managed security solutions, and deliver exceptional experiences that support clients' risk reduction and compliance objectives. This is a full-cycle sales position requiring consultative selling expertise and deep cybersecurity domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting enterprises across multiple sectors and disciplines
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts
- Conduct needs-analysis consultations, solution presentations, and product demonstrations for C-level stakeholders
- Provide expert consultation on managed security services including CMMC, NIST, vulnerability management, compliance frameworks, and cloud security
- Collaborate with customer success and service delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation, closing, and ongoing account stewardship
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas, KPIs, and pipeline development targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Salesforce) tracking leads, opportunities, forecasts, and account activities
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, webinars, and strategic client meetings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, IT managed services, or SaaS solutions
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar sales quotas
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT environments, security challenges, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to develop C-suite relationships and lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity managed services including SOC, MDR, EDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management platforms
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-starter mentality with strong organizational and time-management abilities
