Emergence is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Growth & Monetization team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving data-informed decision-making across our platform, directly impacting business growth and revenue optimization strategies.
About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst focused on Growth & Monetization, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to uncover growth opportunities, optimize monetization pathways, and provide actionable insights to cross-functional teams. You'll work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and finance teams to translate data into strategic recommendations that accelerate business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting systems that track key growth and monetization metrics
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in user behavior and revenue streams
- Develop statistical models and forecasting frameworks to predict growth trajectories and revenue potential
- Collaborate with product teams to define success metrics and evaluate the impact of new features and initiatives
- Create automated reports and alerts to monitor business health and alert stakeholders to critical changes
- Present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders with clear visualizations and strategic recommendations
- Optimize data pipelines and improve analytics infrastructure for scalability and performance
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar analytical role
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
- Expert-level skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar)
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and A/B testing methodologies
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling
- Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets and extract meaningful insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical findings into business language
- Experience in growth analytics or monetization analysis is highly preferred
