The Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to lead full-cycle sales efforts across the US West Coast region. You will own the entire customer journey—from prospecting and qualification through complex contract negotiation and deal closure—while building strategic territory plans to penetrate key verticals including Finance, E-commerce, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Sales Lifecycle Management: Drive end-to-end sales processes with enterprise prospects, managing complex negotiations and closing high-value deals.
  • Territory Strategy Development: Create and execute strategic penetration plans targeting key industries and accounts within the US West region.
  • Solution-Focused Selling: Conduct deep discovery conversations to understand prospect pain points and demonstrate Weaviate's competitive advantages in vector search and AI capabilities.
  • Community-Driven Growth: Partner with Developer Relations and Marketing teams to identify and convert enterprise opportunities from our thriving open-source community.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts using Salesforce or HubSpot to ensure predictable, sustainable revenue growth.

What You Bring

  • Sales Experience: Minimum 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales, with preferred background in infrastructure, databases, or AI/ML sectors.
  • Regional Expertise: Proven quota-crushing track record in the US West Coast market with knowledge of regional procurement practices and legal requirements.
  • Technical Fluency: Comfortable discussing APIs, LLMs, vector embeddings, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Developer background not required but technical literacy essential.
  • Communication Excellence: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Startup Mindset: Builder mentality with comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-growth environments. You create your own playbooks and thrive with ownership.
  • Sales Methodology Training: Formal training in MEDDIC, SPIN Selling, Challenger Sale, or similar frameworks highly desirable.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High EQ with natural ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and adapt communication styles.
  • Growth Orientation: Passionate about advancing your enterprise sales career and developing deep product knowledge.
