The Role

We are seeking a strong JavaScript/TypeScript engineer to join our team and help build a high-performance desktop and web trading terminal. This role is focused on complex UI development, real-time market data processing, advanced charting, and performance-critical workloads. You will report to the Web Platform Lead and work in a remote, hybrid, or on-site capacity depending on your location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a desktop trading terminal built with Electron, ensuring stability and optimal performance across multiple operating systems
• Work on performance optimization, efficient data rendering, and real-time market data updates to support active traders
• Implement and support multi-window workflows and other desktop-specific behaviors essential to trading applications
• Integrate and customize financial charting and visualization libraries to display complex market data
• Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that meet rigorous financial sector standards

Core Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with deep understanding of modern language features and best practices
• Solid experience with React and Redux/Redux Toolkit, including advanced architectural patterns and state management strategies
• Hands-on experience with Electron and comprehensive understanding of desktop application specifics, including multi-window management, IPC (Inter-Process Communication), memory management, and application packaging
• Experience working with real-time data streams using WebSocket protocols, subscriptions, and event-driven systems
• Proven experience with financial or trading charts and building data-heavy interfaces that handle large datasets efficiently
• Strong focus on performance optimization, including rendering efficiency, large dataset handling, memory leak prevention, profiling, and debugging techniques
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable code and solve complex technical problems independently with minimal supervision

Bonus Skills & Experience

• Experience optimizing React rendering performance and implementing virtualization techniques for large lists
• Familiarity with charting libraries such as TradingView, Lightweight Charts, Highcharts, or similar financial visualization tools
• Understanding of trading domain concepts including orders, positions, market data, and execution mechanics
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline configuration and optimization
• Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken
• Background in fintech, trading platforms, or financial services industry
