SAP SD Consultant

About the Role

FusionConsulting is seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our growing team of enterprise solutions experts. This is a remote position ideal for professionals with deep expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module implementation, configuration, and optimization. You will work with global clients across diverse industries, helping them streamline their sales processes, improve order-to-cash cycles, and maximize their SAP investments.

As an SAP SD Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, configuring SAP SD systems, and providing post-implementation support. Your role will be critical in ensuring successful system deployments and driving measurable business value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed business requirement gathering and gap analysis for SAP SD implementations
• Design and configure SAP SD module solutions including sales orders, billing, pricing, and shipping
• Perform system testing, data migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination
• Develop configuration documentation, process flows, and training materials
• Provide pre-sales consulting and proposal development for potential clients
• Troubleshoot and resolve SD-related issues in production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, developers, and project managers
• Mentor junior consultants and knowledge transfer to client teams
• Stay current with SAP SD best practices and product updates

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SD module implementation and support
• Strong knowledge of sales order management, delivery, invoicing, and billing processes
• Experience with SAP configuration tools (IMG, Customizing)
• Proficiency in at least one SAP version (S/4HANA, ECC 6.0, or earlier)
• Understanding of master data management (customers, materials, pricing)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities with both technical and business stakeholders
• Relevant SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Associate—Sales and Distribution) is a plus
• Experience with implementation methodologies (ASAP, Agile, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud or Digital transformation initiatives
• Knowledge of integration tools (SAP PI/PO, middleware solutions)
• Background in supply chain or logistics processes
• Experience with process mining or analytics tools
• Previous consulting experience with Fortune 500 companies
• Fluency in multiple languages
