Role Overview
As a Mid Market Sales Manager at Harvey, you will lead and coach high-performing Account Executives driving growth of AI solutions within mid-sized and boutique law firms and in-house legal teams. You'll own delivery against ambitious sales targets while rolling up your sleeves to work directly with prospective customers. This role requires navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, developing scalable sales operations, and mentoring a growing team. You'll help establish the operational foundations of Harvey's rapidly expanding Mid Market organization through playbooks, best practices, and best-in-class sales toolkits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of consultative, solution-based Mid Market software sales professionals to achieve ARR targets through net new logo and expansion deals
- Own management and reporting of your book of business, including accurate revenue forecasting and pipeline maintenance
- Proactively recruit and hire high-caliber team members to scale the Mid Market organization
- Coach and develop Mid Market Account Executives to promote career growth and excellence
- Refine and evolve the sales playbook to enable all sellers to deliver consultative sales engagements at high velocity
- Work cross-functionally across the organization to build effective sales processes and solutions aligned with customer needs
- Demonstrate strong core sales skills with ability to navigate complex customer relationships independently
What You Bring
- Proven experience scaling high-velocity sales teams and mentoring sales professionals
- Superb core sales skills with a track record of exceeding quota and driving revenue growth
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with affinity for understanding customer needs
- Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles in B2B software or SaaS environments
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and solve problems with limited oversight
- Self-starter mentality with demonstrated ownership of outcomes from conception through execution
- Expertise in revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and sales operations
- Background in legal tech, professional services, or enterprise software sales (preferred)
