The Role: Head of Commercial Strategy
This is a high-impact individual contributor leadership position focused on establishing Bloom as the market category leader. This is not a quota-carrying sales role. You will drive outsized strategic impact through personal expertise, relationships, and organizational influence without managing a direct team.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Market Positioning & Differentiation: Shape how health plans, brokers, consultants, and employers perceive Bloom against competitors like Maven Clinic, Midi Health, Progyny, and Carrot Fertility
- Commercial Intelligence: Become the internal voice of the market, translating external insights into strategic advantage
- Pipeline Generation: Build and structure the commercial pipeline to drive north of 75-80% win rates against established incumbents
- Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with positioning, proof points, relationships, and market intelligence for competitive advantage
- Product-Market Alignment: Close the feedback loop from market to product development, ensuring Bloom reflects market needs for category leadership
- External Narrative: Serve as the external face of Bloom's commercial strategy across stakeholders
