About DealMaker
DealMaker is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the capital markets ecosystem with a mission to make online capital raising mainstream. The platform empowers founders, CEOs, and operators to raise capital digitally, both from their own communities and through strategically marketed campaigns. With an end-to-end solution unmatched in the industry, DealMaker has facilitated over $2 billion raised across 1,000+ campaigns, powering the largest online capital raises for industry leaders like EnergyX ($88M), Green Bay Packers ($65M), Miso Robotics ($72M+), and Monogram Orthopaedics (Nasdaq:MGRM). The company has achieved 3 IPOs in the past year alone and is rapidly expanding to transform the global capital market landscape.
The Role: Implementation Manager
The Implementation Manager is a critical customer-facing position responsible for ensuring DealMaker's issuers launch efficiently, on time, and with confidence. You will serve as the operational driver of each offering, managing onboarding tools and portals while keeping both issuers and internal teams aligned on deliverables and timelines. Your focus is execution and accountability—while the Account Manager owns the long-term relationship and strategy, you will be the main point of contact for issuers throughout the entire onboarding journey, from contract to launch.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll ensure deliverables and milestones are met, potential blockers are addressed early, and issuers experience a smooth, professional onboarding experience that reflects DealMaker's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership & Execution
- Act as the end-to-end owner of issuer launches across all offerings, accountable for driving deals from kickoff through go-live while meeting critical timelines and milestones
- Own time-to-launch by driving accountability across issuers, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders—proactively identifying risks, unblocking dependencies, and ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Serve as the central point of contact for issuers throughout onboarding, building trust through clear communication, strong preparation, and proactive problem-solving before issues escalate
- Lead all onboarding operations by managing issuer workflows, tracking progress across multiple deals, and maintaining real-time visibility into milestones, risks, and dependencies using internal systems
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across Marketing Services, Compliance, and Account Management—ensuring seamless handoffs, aligned priorities, and timely delivery of all launch-related components
- Drive issuer readiness by guiding clients through onboarding requirements, reinforcing expectations, and maintaining a balance of transparency and accountability to prevent delays
- Optimize onboarding efficiency by managing re-raises and repeat issuers with streamlined workflows, leveraging existing data to accelerate time-to-launch
Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive onboarding documentation, checklists, and playbooks to standardize processes and ensure consistency across all issuers
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators including time-to-launch, completion rates, and client satisfaction metrics
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with leadership to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and issuer experience
- Prepare detailed launch readiness reports and executive summaries for stakeholder reviews
Client Success & Communication
- Conduct kickoff meetings with new issuers to establish clear expectations, timelines, and success criteria
- Provide regular progress updates and maintain transparent communication about any challenges or delays
- Escalate critical issues to leadership with recommended solutions and mitigation strategies
- Gather feedback from issuers post-launch to identify improvement opportunities and ensure satisfaction
What We're Looking For
Experience & Background: You bring 3-5+ years of experience in project management, implementation, customer operations, or similar client-facing roles. Experience in fintech, capital markets, or SaaS is highly valued. You've successfully managed complex, multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
Core Competencies: You are exceptionally organized with outstanding attention to detail. You excel at managing multiple concurrent projects without losing sight of critical deadlines. You communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences, from founders to compliance teams. You're a natural problem-solver who identifies blockers early and proposes solutions rather than escalating without direction. You take ownership of outcomes and hold yourself and others accountable to commitments.
Technical Skills: You're comfortable using project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms) and CRM systems. You can quickly learn new software and adapt to evolving tools and processes. You have strong Excel skills and can work with data to track progress and identify trends.
Soft Skills & Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments where priorities shift and ambiguity is normal. You're client-obsessed and genuinely care about issuer success. You're a collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across departments. You remain calm and professional under pressure, and you bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to challenges.
Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with capital raising, equity crowdfunding, or regulatory compliance in fintech; familiarity with API integrations and technical onboarding; experience scaling operations for rapid growth.
