About This Role
GoFasti, a leading Talent-as-a-Service platform, is seeking an experienced Intake and QA Expert specializing in home health services to join our remote team. This is a critical position for a healthcare organization that bridges world-class professionals from Latin America with premier companies globally. We're looking for an English-fluent professional based in Latin America, available to work fully remotely.
This role combines clinical expertise with quality assurance responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume home health environment. You'll play a vital part in ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence by managing clinical documentation review, intake coordination, and quality audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Documentation Review: Audit and review clinical documentation, including nurse assessments and OASIS evaluations, for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
- Quality Assurance: Conduct ongoing audits of nurse and therapy notes to ensure proper documentation standards and consistency across all patient records
- Compliance Verification: Ensure alignment between physician orders, patient clinical needs, and submitted documentation to insurance providers
- Discrepancy Resolution: Identify documentation gaps and follow up with clinical staff to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Insurance Coordination: Support timely submission of required clinical documentation to insurance providers
- Patient Intake Processing: Review incoming patient referrals and verify all required clinical documentation and physician orders are complete and in place
- Internal Coordination: Coordinate with clinical and operations teams to gather missing information and facilitate smooth patient onboarding
- Timeline Management: Assist in ensuring patients are scheduled and evaluated within required service timelines (e.g., 24-hour initial assessment turnaround)
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, care staff, operations teams, and occasionally with patients to communicate clinical requirements and documentation needs
- High-Volume Environment Support: Thrive in a fast-paced setting requiring quick turnaround times and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3+ years of relevant clinical experience in healthcare settings
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (strongly preferred)
- Prior experience in home health services (highly preferred)
- Proven expertise in OASIS assessment familiarity and documentation standards
- Demonstrated experience reviewing clinical documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong ability to connect information across documentation, orders, and patient needs
- Tech-savvy profile with ability to navigate multiple administrative software systems and platforms effectively
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and screens simultaneously in a technology-enabled environment
- Dynamic, proactive personality with ability to ramp quickly with minimal training in fast-paced settings
- Strong English communication skills (C1+ level required) for clear written and verbal communication with diverse teams
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
