IT Project Manager - Mandarin Speaking (Pharma)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with Mandarin language proficiency to join our growing team at FusionConsulting. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
• Serve as primary liaison between English-speaking and Mandarin-speaking team members, stakeholders, and clients
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and communication records
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including software developers, quality assurance, compliance, and business stakeholders
• Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and clients
• Ensure all projects comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and data security protocols
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese (both spoken and written) – essential for stakeholder communication
• 5+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated industries
• Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent
• Proven track record managing complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and pharmaceutical compliance frameworks
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Mandarin
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FDA regulations, GxP compliance, or pharmaceutical quality systems
• Previous work with Chinese pharmaceutical companies or healthcare organizations
• Knowledge of healthcare IT systems or ERP implementations
• Experience managing distributed teams across multiple geographic regions
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
