About This Position

The Associate Director of Client Strategy will play a pivotal role in crafting outcome-driven strategies and industry best practices for customers and prospective customers seeking to leverage Later's platform. This individual will enable the company to unlock significant revenue impact from strategic accounts through collaborative partnership with cross-functional teams.

You will work closely with strategy, sales, account management, services, marketing, and product teams to maximize the outcomes accounts can achieve. The primary measure of success is direct and indirect revenue impact driven by accounts receiving strategy support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influencer Strategy Creation: Craft outcome-driven strategies for existing and prospective accounts to maximize ROI when using Later for influencer marketing and social media marketing campaigns
  • New Business Proposal Support: Collaborate with Sales to create compelling new business proposals featuring thoughtful research, insights, creative campaign concepts, curated creator examples, and realistic outcome expectations
  • Strategic Business Reviews: Partner with Account Management and services teams to prepare Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs) for accounts paying $50,000+ annually
  • Industry Best Practices: Build and maintain comprehensive best practices for influencer and social media marketing across industry verticals, social platforms, and marketing objectives
  • Performance Benchmarking: Develop and maintain industry performance benchmarks (CPE, CPM, engagement rates) by vertical and platform type for strategy development and proposal work
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effectively partner with internal teams to ensure alignment on account strategies, best practices, and performance benchmarks
  • Industry Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends, competitive landscape shifts, and evolving influencer marketing best practices

What We're Looking For

You bring deep expertise in influencer marketing strategy, proven ability to develop data-driven recommendations, and experience collaborating across sales, marketing, and service teams. You understand social media marketing fundamentals, can analyze campaign performance metrics, and communicate complex strategies clearly to diverse stakeholders. Your analytical mindset combined with strategic thinking enables you to identify patterns, build scalable frameworks, and drive measurable business outcomes.
