The Role: Resource Planning Lead
We're seeking a strategic Resource Planning Lead to join our operations team and shape the future of our rapidly growing organization. This is a pivotal role that bridges business development, project delivery, and talent management—ensuring the right people are matched to the right opportunities at the right time. You'll own our resource planning function, often referred to as "Casting" at Livefront, and drive operational excellence across the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Resource Planning: Collaborate with the Growth team to gain early visibility into upcoming project needs and existing project changes, proactively informing resource planning strategies and recruitment priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Delivery and People Ops teams to understand project requirements, client needs, team member capabilities, and hiring priorities.
- Talent Inventory Management: Establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory of team skillsets, strengths, and professional profiles to enable informed casting decisions and resource optimization.
- Casting Leadership: Lead and facilitate regular Casting meetings, helping leadership effectively match team members' skills and availability to project requirements with precision and strategic foresight.
- Project Coordination: Support planning and coordination of internal projects, bench time allocation, and resource utilization across the organization.
- Data Integration & Reporting: Interface with CRM data (HubSpot) to extract relevant information and build custom reports that support resource planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Project Management Systems: Establish and maintain projects within Harvest, ensuring accurate resource assignments, supporting timely timesheet completion, and maintaining data integrity.
- Analytics & Insights: Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker, Excel, and Google Sheets to provide actionable insights into resource utilization patterns.
- Continuous Optimization: Proactively analyze casting data to identify trends, potential bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Project Management Excellence: Demonstrate strong project management acumen in organizing resources, anticipating challenges, and ensuring efficient allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in resource planning, talent operations, or related planning functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with proficiency in data analysis tools
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet applications (Excel, Google Sheets) and reporting platforms (Looker preferred)
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot) and project management software (Harvest or similar)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinking combined with strong attention to detail and execution focus
