About the Role
To achieve our mission, we must ensure our network deployments are designed for performance and scale, as well as executed flawlessly. As a Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements into fully designed wired and wireless networks using Meter's in-house tooling. You'll lead all technical decisions throughout the design and deployment phases, and support our customers through network turn-up and validation. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our deployments and the satisfaction of our customers, enabling Meter to scale and meet the growing demand for reliable internet infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design Performant Networks: Create wireless and wired network designs using Meter's in-house toolkit, ensuring resilience and optimal performance for enterprise environments.
Lead Technical Decisions: Own critical network decisions during design and deployment phases until network go-live and validation are complete, working independently and with confidence.
Support Network Turn-Up: Troubleshoot and support critical devices and network functionality during the network turn-up phase, ensuring seamless customer experiences and rapid issue resolution.
On-Site Installation Support: Visit complex customer sites as needed to support installation and validation, ensuring successful deployment and knowledge transfer to customer teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Deployment Project Managers, Sales Engineers, and Product Engineering teams to design next-generation deployment and networking products.

You're comfortable with travel to customer sites and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments where your contributions directly shape product evolution.
💰 Compensation: The estimated salary range for this role is $109,000 - $186,000 USD annually. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
