Associate Director/Director, Product Management, Oncology Clinical Trial Matching

Position Summary

Lead the development and commercialization of Signatera clinical trial matching products as Associate Director or Director of Product Management. This strategic leadership role oversees the Signatera product line, including on-market and emerging tissue-informed MRD (minimal residual disease) solutions. You'll drive the long-term vision and execute a comprehensive 5-year strategic roadmap focused on accelerating Signatera trials enrollment. This position demands strategic vision combined with exceptional execution and cross-functional leadership capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the clinical trial matching product roadmap for the Signatera product line
• Define and deliver product requirements informed by customer needs and operational constraints
• Oversee product performance and manage cross-departmental support across Product Management, Molecular Biology R&D, Software Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Clinical/Medical, Operations, Regulatory, and Business Development
• Develop product performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvement strategies collaboratively
• Identify business opportunities, create comprehensive business cases, and build financial models supporting product initiatives
• Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to validate features and enhance satisfaction
• Collaborate with marketing teams on product positioning, market launch plans, pricing strategies, and marketing collateral development
• Present data-driven arguments to gain stakeholder alignment and executive buy-in for strategic initiatives
• Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on product vision, progress, and roadmap evolution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in physical or life sciences, statistics, or engineering
• Master's or PhD degree preferred
• Minimum years of product management experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences (specific requirement cut off in original)
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder product initiatives
• Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication abilities

Location & Work Arrangement

This is a remote position with preferred locations in Bay Area, CA and Austin, TX. Remote candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, provided they can align their working schedule with Pacific Standard Time (PST) for seamless collaboration with core cross-functional leadership teams. PST alignment is a requirement for this role.
