The Opportunity

The Account Development Representative will play a critical role in uncovering business needs for Strategic and Enterprise Accounts, building a robust pipeline for the sales organization. You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales enablement, and management to create targeted campaigns and develop qualified prospects through to the handoff point for Sales. The role demands creating a superior customer and prospect experience at every interaction, setting the foundation for successful product sales and long-term relationships with Postman.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Account Development Manager and cross-functional teams to identify and generate new and expansion business opportunities within strategic target accounts
  • Meet or exceed strategic goals and committed targets by engaging with qualified leads and enabling the next step in the sales cycle
  • Qualify opportunities by understanding business challenges and educating prospects on Postman's product value proposition
  • Conduct detailed research within targeted accounts to identify key decision-makers and gather critical account information
  • Identify and target strategic new prospects that accelerate territory growth and revenue potential
  • Engage with and qualify prospects identified through marketing efforts and campaigns
  • Master sales prospecting platforms and tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Leverage identified customer challenges to prescribe relevant campaigns and events that drive meaningful engagement
  • Build and develop superior customer service relationships with prospects throughout the sales funnel
  • Self-audit activity logs and metrics regularly to ensure accuracy and drive continuous improvement
  • Proactively develop deep product knowledge of Postman, competitive offerings, and market dynamics through self-directed learning
  • Maintain accurate and complete lead status and prospect interaction records in CRM daily
  • Become proficient with sales enablement tools and platforms to maximize productivity

About You

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Fluent in Danish (speaking requirement for this role)
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify and qualify target prospects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet ambitious targets
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales enablement software
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales development metrics and goals
