The Role

We're seeking an experienced AP Physics instructor to teach students across multiple formats—from intensive cram courses to ongoing one-on-one tutoring and full-length classroom-style AP courses. As an AP Physics instructor, you'll leverage The Princeton Review's proven curriculum and your subject expertise to guide students through complex content, test-taking strategies, and skills aligned with College Board standards.

What You'll Do

  • Teach AP Physics students in diverse formats: short-term cram courses, ongoing 1-on-1 tutoring sessions, and full-length virtual classroom instruction
  • Use The Princeton Review's curriculum to break down complex physics concepts and help students master key exam content
  • Deliver personalized instruction that meets students where they are—whether accelerating ahead, maintaining pace, or deepening understanding
  • Maintain professional, timely communication with students, families, and internal teams
  • Create inclusive, engaging, and supportive virtual learning experiences that build student confidence
  • Develop session plans aligned with College Board AP Physics standards and exam expectations

What We're Looking For

  • Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching a College Board–approved AP Physics course within the past 3 years
  • Subject Expertise: Deep knowledge of AP Physics content, exam structure, and assessment expectations
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; degree in Physics, Physical Sciences, or related STEM field preferred
  • Teaching Style: Flexible, adaptive approach with ability to adjust instruction for different formats and diverse learner needs
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven virtual classroom management experience
  • Availability: Evening and/or weekend availability during the school year
  • Online Instruction: Prior experience with remote/online teaching is a plus
