About This Role

Weaviate Cloud is the primary entry point for most developers discovering Weaviate. As a Product Engineer - Growth, you'll be instrumental in making this experience exceptional. Unlike traditional engineering roles, you won't simply implement pre-defined features. Instead, you'll own the complete product lifecycle: instrument data, ship features, measure impact, and iterate based on real user behavior. Your work will directly influence critical metrics including product activation, time-to-value, and user-driven expansion.

You'll collaborate seamlessly with Web, Design, and Documentation teams to create a unified user experience across the Weaviate console, website, and documentation—ensuring developers move smoothly from discovery through adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and iterate on Weaviate Cloud products and product-led-growth (PLG) initiatives, including onboarding flows, in-product prompts, and expansion paths with emphasis on usability and feature adoption
• Identify and eliminate friction points in the user journey by instrumenting end-to-end flows, tracking activation and retention metrics, and acting on data-driven insights
• Conduct direct user interviews to develop empathy for the developer experience and uncover insights that quantitative data alone cannot reveal
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Growth, Web, and Documentation teams to design and execute experiments that create cohesive experiences across all touchpoints
• Contribute to scalable frontend and backend systems supporting high-quality product experiences through code reviews, automated testing, and technical documentation
