The Role: Product Operations Intern

As a Product Operations Intern at Roadie, you'll play a vital role supporting the Product team in a fully remote position. This internship offers hands-on experience in project management, operations coordination, and product development within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll work directly with product managers and cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, maintain critical project documentation, and ensure operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and organize outdated or redundant project items within Jira and related project management tools to improve team efficiency
• Support documentation efforts by updating process guides, templates, and team resources to maintain current best practices
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improving project organization and workflow consistency across the product organization
• Assist with meeting coordination, including note-taking, action item tracking, and follow-up communication to ensure accountability
• Prepare project summaries, status updates, and internal documentation to support stakeholder communication and decision-making
• Participate in PM and Scrum team meetings to gain direct exposure to Agile project management practices and industry-standard methodologies
• Create and maintain Jira dashboards, reports, and tracking systems that enhance project visibility and organizational clarity
• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day operational tasks and coordination responsibilities to maintain team productivity

What We're Looking For

• Strong Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain structured workflows
• Interest in Product & Operations: Genuine passion for project management, operations, or product development disciplines
• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with diverse team members and articulate ideas concisely in writing and verbally
• Technical Aptitude: Some experience with project management systems or comfort learning new tools quickly in a dynamic environment
• Collaborative Experience: Background coordinating school projects, student organizations, events, or other collaborative activities is valuable
• Tool Familiarity: Experience with Jira, Google Workspace, or similar collaboration platforms is helpful but not required
• Agile Knowledge: Exposure to Agile or Scrum concepts through coursework, internships, or personal projects is a plus
• Growth Mindset: Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine eagerness to contribute meaningfully to a collaborative team environment
