About This Role

Avery Dennison is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our National CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Headquarters team in a fully remote capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to make a significant impact within one of the world's leading materials science companies. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key client relationships, and expanding market presence across the CPG sector.

As a Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our commercial strategy, representing Avery Dennison's innovative product portfolio to national and regional CPG clients. This role combines strategic account management with hands-on sales execution, requiring both consultative selling skills and the ability to close complex deals in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities within the CPG sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target accounts
  • Conduct product demonstrations and present tailored solutions that address client-specific challenges
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and forecast accurately using CRM systems
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics within the CPG space
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to generate leads

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally within CPG, packaging, or related industries
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional sales experience with consistent quota attainment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities demonstrated through measurable sales achievements
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a competitive drive to succeed
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accountability
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with key clients and attend industry events
