About the Role
FusionConsulting is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant to join our growing team of procurement and supply chain experts. This is a fully remote position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world while delivering high-impact solutions to our global client base.
As an SAP Ariba Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Ariba solutions that streamline procurement processes, enhance supplier management, and drive cost savings for enterprise clients. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful system deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed discovery and requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand procurement challenges and objectives
- Design and configure SAP Ariba solutions including Ariba Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing, and Supplier Management modules
- Lead system implementation projects from initial planning through go-live and post-implementation support
- Develop and document functional specifications, process flows, and configuration documentation
- Perform testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide training and change management support to client teams during system transitions
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and optimize system performance
- Stay current with SAP Ariba updates, enhancements, and best practices in procurement technology
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba implementations
- Deep knowledge of Ariba Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing, and/or Supplier Management modules
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
- Experience with SAP system integration and data migration
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- SAP Ariba certification preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other SAP modules
- Knowledge of API integrations and custom development
- Previous experience in consulting or client-facing roles
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
