About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the leadership team, you'll play a key role in supporting our mission to deliver teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, business-minded, and eager to drive performance through data and insights.
In this position, you'll gain hands-on experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), strategic finance, and operational analysis—all while contributing to a mission-driven organization that helps children with special needs. You'll be instrumental in translating complex financial data into actionable business intelligence that drives strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally to drive performance by working closely with finance and business teams to set goals, track performance, and align spend with strategic priorities
- Support FP&A initiatives by preparing annual budgets and long-range plans, consolidating and analyzing financial data, building and maintaining three-statement financial models, and tracking key performance metrics
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting on operational metrics, department performance, and variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time visibility into financial performance across the organization
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial modeling and analysis to evaluate business opportunities and investment decisions
- Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all financial systems
- Prepare presentations and financial summaries for leadership and stakeholders, translating complex financial information into clear, compelling narratives
Core Working Hours & Location
This role works most closely with teams operating in the Eastern time zone; alignment with standard EST or CST business hours is preferred. All employees commit to being available on-camera during Core Working Hours (Monday - Friday, 12 - 5 p.m. ET) with standard business hours of 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your local time zone. Up to 10% travel may be required to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way, including department offsites, team gatherings, and school or industry events.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and financial models
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Experience with financial analysis tools and Excel (advanced skills required)
- Familiarity with FP&A best practices and financial reporting frameworks
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment
- Comfort with remote work and ability to maintain engagement through digital communication
