FusionConsulting is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager specializing in SAP integrations within the pharmaceutical industry. This is a remote position ideal for professionals with deep expertise in managing complex enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementations, particularly those involving Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in regulated pharmaceutical environments.

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead mission-critical SAP integration projects that directly impact pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. This role demands a strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical knowledge of enterprise systems integration, project management methodologies, and pharmaceutical industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP integration projects involving LIMS and MES systems for pharmaceutical organizations
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across cross-functional teams
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless system integration
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements specifications, implementation plans, and post-go-live support strategies
• Identify and mitigate project risks, managing scope creep and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GxP standards, and pharmaceutical industry best practices throughout all project phases
• Conduct stakeholder communication, including executive status reports and technical briefings
• Oversee system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) in compliance with regulated environments
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge transfer to client teams

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years managing SAP implementations or integrations
• Demonstrated expertise with LIMS and MES system integrations in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, etc.)
• Proficiency with SAP modules relevant to pharma (SAP MM, QM, PM, or similar)
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all organizational levels
• Proven ability to manage distributed teams and work effectively in remote environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GxP compliance and validation protocols
• Knowledge of system integration tools and platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.)
• Background in change management and organizational transformation
• Understanding of agile and hybrid project management methodologies
• Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations
