The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts to lead our financial operations and drive strategic financial planning across our growing organization. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll oversee consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and team management across our UK, India, and international subsidiaries. This is a pivotal role for someone with strong technical finance expertise and the ability to partner with business leaders to drive commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting: Own yearly financial planning, monthly revenue forecasting, and all cost lines including headcount, compensation grids, capacity optimization, productivity targets, and utilization levels. Drive execution through performance reviews and dashboards.
Consolidated Financial Reporting: Prepare and own consolidated financial statements for the Group across all entities (UK, India, and international subsidiaries). Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all applicable accounting standards.
Leadership Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs for the Leadership Team and Board. Present client-wise monthly financials and key financial levers with clear insights on plan vs. actual performance.
Budget Management & Monitoring: Monitor team targets and budgets, identify variances against plan, and drive timely course corrections. Communicate proactively if deadlines slip or issues arise.
SaaS Financial Metrics: Collaborate with the Sales function to ensure the General Ledger correctly tracks SaaS-specific metrics including Deferred Revenue, ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), LTV (Lifetime Value), and Gross Margin.
Service Level Agreement Oversight: Ensure adherence to baseline values for all SLAs, including KPI and CPI monitoring across the organization.
External Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, leading the annual audit process to a clean and timely conclusion.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Accounting teams and internal partners to resolve issues, handle multiple stakeholder relationships, and support metrics reporting for significant processes.
People Leadership: Manage and develop your finance team. Be involved in hiring, creating structured learning paths, and serving as an operations coach to drive team excellence.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications: CA (Chartered Accountant) qualified or CA Inter with MBA in Finance. Strong technical accounting foundation required.
Experience: 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment. Proven track record in multi-entity consolidated financial reporting and complex accounting scenarios.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel. Macros and VBA experience is a strong advantage.
SaaS Expertise: Demonstrated experience in SaaS accounting, revenue recognition (ASC 606 or IFRS 15), and tracking key SaaS metrics.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging team and client discussions. Comfort with data-driven decision making.
Leadership Qualities: Track record of managing and developing finance teams. Ability to mentor, coach, and build high-performing teams while maintaining operational excellence.
