About the Role
ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Monetization Strategy Director to lead our strategic initiatives around revenue optimization and business model innovation. This is a remote leadership position ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in SaaS monetization, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution.
As Monetization Strategy Director, you will own the development and implementation of monetization strategies that drive revenue growth across ServiceNow's platform ecosystem. This role bridges product, finance, and commercial teams to identify new revenue opportunities, optimize pricing models, and enhance customer lifetime value through innovative service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive monetization strategies aligned with company growth objectives and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to identify, evaluate, and implement new revenue streams
- Analyze competitive landscape, customer value perception, and market trends to inform pricing and packaging decisions
- Collaborate with product, sales, and finance teams to optimize pricing architecture and go-to-market strategies
- Create financial models and business cases for proposed monetization initiatives
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue optimization
- Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to inform strategic recommendations
- Drive adoption of new monetization approaches across the organization
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in monetization strategy, pricing strategy, or business development at SaaS companies
- Proven track record of successfully launching new revenue models or pricing strategies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop data-driven financial models
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities
- Deep understanding of SaaS business models, platform economics, and subscription metrics
- Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capabilities
- MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
