The Role

Join Sharebite's Design team as a Product Designer, where you'll own the end-to-end design of core features within our platform. The Design team ensures products serve customer needs in easy-to-use, enjoyable, and innovative ways. You'll turn complex user needs into effortless experiences, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver polished, high-impact solutions. This role is perfect for designers with professional experience shipping digital products and a genuine passion for user advocacy.

What You'll Do

  • Feature Execution: Take full ownership of specific features (e.g., revamping checkout flows) from concept through pixel-perfect handoff to engineering.
  • Design Exploration & Execution: Translate requirements and user insights into wireframes, flows, UI concepts, and high-fidelity mockups that solve real problems.
  • Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to validate design ideas with users before engineering begins, reducing rework and ensuring user satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work daily with engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented with precision and quality.
  • User Advocacy: Use data and research to advocate for users, ensuring friction-free experiences and informed design decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience shipping digital products (web or mobile). Portfolio required showcasing case studies with strong foundation in user-centered design principles.
  • Design Tools: Proficiency creating wireframes, flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma or similar design software.
  • Visual Craft: High bar for visual quality with deep understanding of how typography, color, spacing, and layout affect both usability and aesthetics.
  • User Research: Hands-on experience conducting basic usability testing and user research to validate design work and iterate based on real feedback.
  • Communication: Ability to clearly explain design rationale and decisions to non-designers, Product Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Design Principles: Strong foundation in user-centered design methodologies, accessibility standards, and modern product design best practices.
