About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) / Head of HR (HRD) to join Social Discovery Ventures as a strategic human resources leader. This is a pivotal role for a growing global organization, where you'll drive HR strategy, culture, and organizational development across a distributed workforce.
As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with international employment regulations. You'll work closely with executive leadership and department heads to identify talent needs, optimize organizational structure, and implement scalable HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with company vision and business goals
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership on talent management and organizational development
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention programs for a global team
- Design and implement employee engagement, performance management, and compensation strategies
- Ensure compliance with employment law and best practices across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead culture initiatives and employee development programs
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes
- Oversee HR operations, systems, and reporting
- Build and mentor an HR team (if applicable)
What We're Looking For
You should have substantial experience in HR leadership roles, with proven success in building high-performing teams and implementing transformational HR initiatives. A deep understanding of remote and distributed workforce management is essential. You must be comfortable navigating multi-country employment regulations and possess strong strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of HR leadership or HR Business Partner experience
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations
- Knowledge of international employment laws and compliance
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Experience with HR systems and analytics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
