About This Role
SoftwareMind is seeking a talented Senior Reporting Specialist to join our Debt Asset Management team in a fully remote position. As a Senior Reporting Specialist focused on Debt Asset Management, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing comprehensive reporting solutions that support critical business decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and technology to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful data delivery to stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced reporting frameworks and dashboards for debt asset management operations
- Create SQL queries, data models, and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load financial data from multiple sources
- Build automated reporting solutions using business intelligence tools and platforms
- Analyze complex financial datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements
- Document reporting processes, data lineage, and system specifications for knowledge sharing and continuity
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and implement corrective measures
- Present findings and insights to senior management and executive teams
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in financial reporting and business intelligence
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in financial reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems
- Demonstrated expertise with at least one business intelligence platform (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
- Deep understanding of debt asset management, fixed income markets, or investment operations (highly preferred)
- Advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formula development
- Experience with financial data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Background in risk management or portfolio analytics
- Relevant certifications (such as Google Analytics, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or similar)
