About Solana Mobile
Solana Mobile has launched Seeker, a digital asset–first phone featuring Seed Vault (hardware-backed wallet security), a native wallet, and the dApp Store—a mobile distribution platform for Solana developer apps. The Solana Mobile Stack (SMS) enables phone manufacturers to integrate these products across their devices.
Our backend systems power the dApp Store, wallet services, event tracking, on-chain transaction systems (staking), and APIs relied upon by developers and users daily.
The Role
This is a high-autonomy position on a lean, fast-moving team. You'll own real scope with decisions that directly impact the product. The team actively integrates AI-assisted development to maintain efficiency and give engineers greater leverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own backend architecture for core Solana Mobile services: dApp Store APIs, wallet services backend, device registry, event tracking, and on-chain activity systems (staking infrastructure)
- Build and maintain REST and WebSocket APIs consumed by Android, Flutter, and Web clients, plus third-party developers integrating the Solana Mobile Stack
- Own services in production: participate in on-call rotation, author runbooks, contribute to post-mortems, and drive action items to closure
- Identify friction in your workflows and team processes: automate where it makes sense, build tools to eliminate repeated effort, and share solutions
