About the Role
Spotify's Global Experiential and Content Production (GECP) team is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our dynamic creative team. While based within Global Communications, this role delivers company-wide impact by supporting multiple business functions including Communications, Ads, Government Affairs, Product, Music, Creator, Podcast, and Audiobooks teams. You'll transform strategic initiatives into compelling live events and content experiences that resonate with internal and external audiences.
As Associate Director, you'll play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and executing high-impact creative content and live event production at scale. This is a senior creative and production leadership position requiring strong strategic thinking, project management expertise, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex experiential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of experiential programs tied to communications priorities, creator relationships, policy moments, and company-wide initiatives
- Manage VIP/Influencer programming, thought leadership platforms, and business-driven event needs alongside Spotify's Brand Experiential Marketing team
- Deliver high-impact creative content strategies and oversee end-to-end live event production
- Build scalable solutions and frameworks to maximize project success and team efficiency
- Support the GECP Director in strategic planning, objective development, and goal execution
- Collaborate across global teams to align experiential work with broader business objectives
- Travel extensively (up to 70% domestic and international) to oversee events and production initiatives

Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams across communications, product, creator relations, and business units. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills required.
Creative & Strategic Mindset: Comfortable balancing creative excellence with business objectives. Ability to develop innovative experiential solutions while maintaining scalability and efficiency.
