The Role

As a Strategic Account Executive - West, you'll drive new business development for 9amHealth's digital health solutions targeting the largest and most strategic employer clients across the western United States. This is a pivotal position reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for expanding our presence in the employer benefits space and ensuring broader access to our innovative virtual cardiometabolic care offerings. The role supports Western U.S. regions and is ideal for candidates in the Pacific Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage past experiences, relationships, and market knowledge to drive new business with large employers (25K+ employees), state agencies, and health plans
  • Lead end-to-end commercial sales cycles from opportunity sourcing and pipeline management to deal closure
  • Partner with the Consultant Relations Team to build relationships and develop qualified leads from employer benefits consultants
  • Collaborate with your Sales Development Representative to identify new market opportunities and execute growth strategies
  • Work with the National Partnerships Team to establish and strengthen relationships with market partners including PBMs, health plans, and reseller partners

What You'll Need

  • Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas, preferably in digital health or employer benefits
  • Strategic Relationships: Established connections with key decision-makers in employer benefits and healthcare consulting industries
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of employer benefits ecosystems, including decision-making processes within large organizations and benefits consulting firms
  • Launch Strategy Skills: Ability to establish and refine adoption strategies for new employer markets
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and relationship building
  • Location: Based in or serving the Western United States; Pacific Time Zone preferred
