The Role

We are seeking a Tech Lead for our LLM & Generative AI team to take ownership of our conversational intelligence platform. Currently processing 80 million tokens per day and growing rapidly, you will lead a team of 3 engineers and own the complete architecture, training, and deployment of the models powering our core product.

This is not a wrapper around existing APIs — we're building massive-scale conversational intelligence from the ground up. You'll be responsible for:

• Leading and scaling our LLM team to support exponential growth across 50 million+ users
• Architecting and optimizing model infrastructure for personalized AI companions at scale
• Managing end-to-end model training pipelines and fine-tuning strategies
• Deploying and maintaining production systems handling millions of daily interactions
• Collaborating with product and infrastructure teams to ensure reliability and performance
• Driving technical innovation in conversational AI and personalization

What We're Looking For

You are an experienced engineering leader with deep expertise in Large Language Models and generative AI. You have:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years focused on LLM/generative AI
• Proven track record leading technical teams in AI/ML environments
• Strong knowledge of LLM architectures, training methodologies, and fine-tuning techniques
• Experience with model deployment, optimization, and scaling at production scale
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Understanding of infrastructure, DevOps, and distributed systems
• Passion for building safe, ethical AI systems
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
