The Opportunity

We're seeking a strategic Account Director to join our Growth team and drive expansion of key client partnerships. You'll own a book of business, develop consultative, insight-driven plans, and align TechnologyAdvice's marketing solutions to client objectives. As a trusted advisor, you'll drive retention and upsell through proactive relationship management, performance analysis, and clear ROI storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage senior decision-makers across executive, sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive adoption of TechnologyAdvice solutions
  • Generate new revenue opportunities through cold outreach, network development, events, and social selling
  • Build deep client understanding of products, partner ecosystems, and ideal customer profiles
  • Create and execute targeted sales and business development initiatives to expand pipeline and accelerate deal flow
  • Conduct ongoing market and account research to uncover needs and identify selling opportunities
  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting through relationship-building, proposals, and solution presentation
  • Develop compelling value propositions and accurate proposals with clear expectations
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals confidently, addressing objections and leveraging enablement resources
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals while ensuring strong client retention and satisfaction

Requirements

Proven account management and B2B sales experience with demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships and close enterprise deals. Strong consultative selling skills, market research capability, and proficiency with CRM systems. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities required.
