The team includes physicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, researchers, and White House advisors, backed by leading technology and healthcare investors committed to reimagining OUD treatment in America.

About the Role

As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you'll be a critical member of Ophelia's care team, providing clinical care to patients receiving medication for opioid use disorder and a focused suite of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, and insomnia. This is a full-time remote position requiring a Delaware license.

You'll work collaboratively with other clinicians, triage nurses, and administrative care coordinators to deliver compassionate, evidence-based treatment. Our team-based approach ensures strong support for both providers and patients throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake visits and/or follow-up visits for patients with OUD
  • Provide compassionate, non-stigmatizing clinical support to vulnerable populations
  • Serve as a liaison and advocate for patients, ensuring appropriate care as their needs evolve
  • Collaborate within a team-based care model to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain detailed clinical documentation and records

Ideal Candidate

You are an Advanced Practice Practitioner with:

  • A genuine passion for serving vulnerable populations
  • Previous experience with medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD), OR willingness to learn clinical skills needed to provide MOUD via telehealth
  • Interest in working full-time in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment that prioritizes patient-centered care
  • A Delaware state license (NP or PA)
  • Ability to work flexible hours within our operating schedule

No prior MOUD experience required—Ophelia provides comprehensive training to develop the clinical skills you need.

Schedule & Location

Patient care hours are Monday–Friday 9am–7pm and Saturday–Sunday 9am–5pm EST. Weekend coverage is provided primarily by our most experienced providers. We're flexible and will work with you to create an ideal schedule within these hours. This is a fully remote position.
