The Role

We're seeking a Telehealth Psychiatrist to join our remote team in a flexible, part-time capacity with the potential to transition to full-time. In this position, you will conduct audio and video patient intake appointments (20–30 minutes each) to understand patient challenges and assess their suitability for patient advocacy services under the principles of Principal Illness Navigation and Community Health Integration.

Importantly, this role does not require diagnosing or prescribing—instead, you'll focus on clinical assessment, patient intake, and care navigation. You'll also collaborate closely with our technology team to develop innovative AI tools that enhance the clinical experience and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake appointments via telehealth (audio/video) to assess healthcare challenges and patient advocacy needs
• Evaluate patient suitability for Principal Illness Navigation and Community Health Integration services
• Collaborate with the technology team on AI tool development to enhance clinical workflows
• Maintain clear, compassionate communication with Medicare-aged patients and internal teams
• Work flexibly within a startup environment with week-to-week scheduling flexibility (minimum 10 hours/week preferred)
• Demonstrate a bias toward action and continuous learning in a rapidly evolving organization

Required Qualifications

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (Note: Position listed as Psychiatrist; verify licensing requirements with employer)
• Active medical license in an IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) member state
• Open to acquiring additional licensure as needed. IMLC member states include: AL, AZ, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, ND, OH, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY, and GU
• PTAN/PECOS account (registration and enrollment with Medicare)

• Previous telehealth delivery experience is a strong plus
• Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for vulnerable populations
• Maintains a positive attitude with a bias toward action and problem-solving

Work Arrangement

This is a remote, part-time position with the potential to evolve into a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs. We offer flexible week-to-week scheduling with a preferred minimum of 10 hours per week. Work entirely from your location—no travel required.

💰 Compensation: $125/hour (approximately $65K–$130K annually depending on hours worked)
