The Opportunity
This is a fabulous opportunity to gain real-world experience in a dynamic SaaS environment. We're seeking an undergraduate student for a year-long industry placement. This role spans the entire solution journey—from understanding customer outcomes and building solutions to conducting data analysis and drawing actionable insights. You'll provide critical input to our product management and engineering functions, directly influencing Vyn's product evolution and roadmap.
This is not a siloed role. You'll work across multiple teams, gaining exposure to customer success, product development, and technical implementation—ideal preparation for a career in digital transformation or SaaS engineering.
What You'll Do
Align with customer objectives: Understand key success criteria and ensure fulfillment of agreed customer outcomes throughout their journey with Vyn.
Build end-to-end digital transformation solutions: Design and develop customer digital transformation journeys, including data flows, dashboards, and storyboards tailored to business needs.
Provide first-line customer support: Serve as the primary contact for resolving customer issues, answering support tickets promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with Customer Success: Work closely with Customer Success leads on all aspects of customer management, ensuring retention and satisfaction.
Configure and customize products: Build and configure our platform based on customer workflows, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
What You'll Need
Education: Pursuing an undergraduate degree in the UK with sandwich year/placement year requirements.
Technical Foundation: Basic skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Willingness to develop proficiency in API connections (SOAP/REST) and cloud visualization tools.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail. You're a natural team player, always ready to listen, collaborate, and learn.
Adaptability: Flexible mindset enabling you to operate effectively within ambiguity, uncertainty, and change—essential in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
Nice to Have: Knowledge of AWS QuickSight or similar business intelligence tools is an added advantage.
