We're seeking talented individuals to help grow our vibrant developer community. In this Developer Advocate Intern role, you'll play a pivotal part in communicating complex AI concepts to our audience through engaging, visually compelling content.
What You'll Be Working On
As a Developer Advocate Intern at Weaviate, you'll gain hands-on experience across multiple content verticals:
- Blog Post Development: Support the creation of technical blog posts that showcase real-world applications of Weaviate's vector database, including tutorials on agentic RAG systems, context engineering, and domain-specific applications like legal document processing.
- Video Content Production: Collaborate on YouTube channel and social media video content, helping to script, visualize, and produce technical tutorials that break down advanced AI concepts for developers at all levels.
- Visual Technical Explanations: Transform complex AI and machine learning concepts into stunning, easy-to-understand visual content for LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and other social platforms.
- Example Projects: Build demonstration projects using the Weaviate stack to showcase practical implementations and best practices for vector database integration.
- Community Engagement: Support community initiatives that help developers understand and leverage AI-native database technologies.
What We're Looking For
You should have a strong aptitude for design and visual communication, combined with a genuine interest in AI and machine learning technologies. Ability to understand technical concepts deeply and translate them into accessible, engaging content is essential. Experience with or enthusiasm for learning about vector databases, AI/ML applications, and developer tools is valuable. Your creative mindset, attention to detail, and passion for developer advocacy will set you apart.
