About the Role

The Global Sourcing Manager, Mechanical is the domain expert for mechanical commodities (machining, sheet metal, etc.) at Anduril Industries. This proactive, high-impact role secures critical components, materials, and services powering our products. You will develop new supplier and sourcing partnerships for new and existing products, improving technology, cost, and quality. The position requires broad cross-functional partnership to evaluate supplier opportunities while ensuring commercial agreements, intellectual property, and statements of work are accurate and well-established.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for mechanical fabrication, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience
• Own end-to-end responsibility for delivering quality parts at the right cost, when needed
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing processes for mechanical fabrication
• Manage business relationships with Contract Manufacturers, ensuring supply continuity, risk management, cost negotiations, and NPI to MP operation execution
• Partner with Engineering teams and Contract Manufacturers to influence technical design specifications and customize manufacturing requirements
• Perform detailed analysis of quote submissions using cost breakdown data and total cost of ownership (TCO) metrics
• Support prototype requirements, execute build milestones, and lead sourcing activities with cross-functional teams
• Negotiate key supplier agreements establishing best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms
• Influence Contract Manufacturers' processes, CapEx, and technology decisions
• Provide technical direction for specific commodities, guiding product strategy throughout the product lifecycle
• Manage operations for developing new and adapting existing technologies for Anduril

Salary Information
