About The Role
As a Client Retention Specialist on our Customer Success Team, you will serve as a primary point of contact for valued customers enrolled in Beyond Finance's financial hardship programs. You will interact with clients primarily through inbound phone calls, focusing on at-risk customers who are struggling with program engagement or value realization. Your expertise in deescalation, empathy, and creative problem-solving will be essential to helping clients navigate their debt-free journey and remain committed to the Beyond Finance program.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate Clients: Provide comprehensive information about the Beyond Finance financial hardship debt program, ensuring clients understand benefits, processes, and available options.
- Empathize and Deescalate: Display active listening skills to understand and deescalate upset clients, addressing concerns and alleviating stress regarding their financial situation.
- Navigate CRM System: Effectively use our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to quickly access client information, including financial status and program progress. Maintain accurate, detailed records of all interactions.
- Analyze Financial Situations: Assess clients' current financial circumstances and determine the most appropriate options to help them achieve debt-free status.
- Retain Clients: Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions aligned with their financial goals, encouraging continued participation in the Beyond Finance program.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, proficiency with CRM platforms, and a genuine passion for helping people improve their financial wellbeing. Experience in customer success, retention, or financial services is valued.
Salary Disclosure: This position offers an estimated salary range of $80,000–$130,000 USD annually.
