The Role
We seek a highly motivated Corporate Account Executive to build relationships with key decision makers and evangelize secure, reliable software solutions. You will walk in your customers' shoes, demonstrating the immense value Chainguard's solutions offer to enterprise organizations.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute sales plans for your assigned territory
- Convey value propositions and product differentiators to prospects and customers
- Forecast, meet, and exceed sales quotas
- Develop and manage lead funnels through inbound and outbound initiatives
- Manage business opportunities and track progress via CRM and supporting tools
- Collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering teams to improve the sales cycle
- Develop competitive market knowledge and familiarity with competing offerings
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of closing experience in SaaS, Security, or DevOps industries (required)
- Central Timezone location (United States-based requirement)
- Proven track record of consistently overachieving sales targets (top 10-20% performer)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong work ethic and resourcefulness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new products and processes quickly
- Team player with competitive, driven approach
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed to support sales relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Domain experience with compute platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins), and SDLC
- Startup experience
- Tech-savvy business acumen and ability to articulate compelling value propositions in complex, evolving environments
