Our customers include Fortune 500 enterprises and global industry leaders such as OpenAI, Snap Inc., Snowflake, and Canva. We are venture-backed by leading investors including Sequoia Capital, Kleiner Perkins, and Spark Capital.

The Role

We're seeking a Brand Designer to bring the Chainguard brand to life across every channel. This role combines hands-on design and motion work with an emphasis on consistency, precision, and quality. You'll collaborate with marketing, events, and content teams to design, animate, and deliver assets for social media, campaigns, presentations, and large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design production: Create creative assets for digital and print, including social posts, presentation decks, launch assets, and event branding.
  • Brand consistency: Ensure all creative output aligns with the Chainguard brand system and visual standards.
  • Event and campaign support: Produce assets for conferences, booths, and digital campaigns, from signage to promotional materials.
  • Motion and animation: Develop short-form motion graphics and animations for marketing campaigns, product demos, and social content.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with campaigns, content, and product marketing teams to execute deliverables efficiently and on deadline.
  • Asset management: Deliver final assets in proper formats and maintain organized design files for future use.
  • Quality assurance: Review creative deliverables to ensure accuracy, alignment, and design integrity across all platforms.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in graphic design or production design, with motion design experience (in-house preferred).
  • Strong command of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and receptive to feedback.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling creative work.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and motion tools (After Effects, Jitter, or Capsule).
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design and motion skills across formats and channels.
